This course is delivered by specialist multi agency professionals working within the field of CRE.  The course will provide an awareness of child exploitation and recommend research, good practice and further reading to enhance professional understanding and practice with children who are victims of or at risk of exploitation.

Professionals are required to complete self directed learning prior to attending the course to ensure that there is an understanding of local strategies and procedures and local service offers (see attached downloadable documents). There are also four e-learning modules for professionals to complete, prior to completing Level 3 training 'Children at Risk of Exploitation'.

  • Identify and Safeguard Children at risk of exploitation
  • Understand the Local, Regional and National Picture from a multi agency perspective
  • Understand place and space based risk
  • Understand and use tools to disrupt and support prosecution of offenders
  • Understand referral processes
