This is one of five modules looking at the exploitation of children. These modules can be completed independently or as part of pre-requisite learning prior to completing Level 3 training 'Understanding Child Exploitation', depending on your role.

Learning Outcomes:

Understand what is meant by Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and the National Referral Mechanism
Explore the different types of exploitation in modern slavery
Recognise the signs and indicators of modern slavery
Have an awareness of how children and young people may be targeted and the impact this has on them
Know how to respond to a concern, including making a referral
Understand the role of other agencies in preventing, responding and supporting children and young people affected
